Our Mission Statement

It is our intention that the John Denver Nature Exhibit:

·        Assist the Austin Nature Center in fulfilling their mission,

·        Provide a source for educating the public about environmental issues and responsibilities,

·        Directly benefit the animals who live at the Nature Center by raising funds for their care,

·        Serve as a means to keep the beauty and meaning of John's music, and awareness of his life work, in the public eye,

·        Inspire visitors to feel the emotion of John's song and connect with his music,

·        Motivate new generations to become involved in protecting and preserving our environment and our planet,

·        Raise awareness of the role we play in our environment and toward all living beings,

·        Provide a place for people who loved John to gather and honor his life,

·        Serve as a model to inspire the building of other appropriately placed memorials around the world which feature John's music and which honor his life.
